The Mark Master Mason Degree is the first of the four Capitular Degrees and is commonly described as a continuation of the Fellow Craft experience. Its setting returns the candidate to the labor surrounding the building of King Solomon’s Temple.
Rather than focusing only on abstract symbolism, the Degree presents lessons that apply directly to work, reputation, accountability, judgment, and the way individuals are valued within a larger endeavor.
Worthy labor may be misunderstood for a time, but faithful work ultimately reveals its own value.

Mark Master Masonry begins with labor at the Temple. The next Degrees move from the work itself to leadership, completion, loss, rebuilding, and restoration.
